When I observe God’s vast creation, I never cease to be amazed. There is still so much about the creation that I do not know about or understand. The small portion that I have been able to observe is mind-blowing. I have also observed patterns and behaviors of certain animals in contrast to the patterns and behaviors of people in some regards.
One thing I have taken note of is the behavior of female animals toward males. There are some very interesting differences in how female animals relate to males compared to how some women relate to men.
Female animals instinctively know they are the prize and that males should pursue and work for them.
Here are a few differences between some women’s perspectives and behaviors with men in relationships, compared to the female animals, and how they relate to the males.
Women: Pretty, feminine shape, found to be appealing to men. May take desperate measures to increase beauty in their face and body to attract and please men.
Female animals: Usually, much smaller and/or dull colored, compared to males. This does not concern them. Males are very attracted to them, pursue, and work for them, regardless.
Women: Try to make themselves prettier, dress and act a certain way to get and keep a man. Will compete with other women, and sometimes have animosity toward other women who are perceived as a threat.
Female animals: Generally, do not try to attract or impress males. They instinctively require the male to impress them. They tend to get along just fine with, and hang in a group with other females.
Women: The sex act for a woman is multi-dimensional, including for procreation, pleasure and intimacy. Some will use sex as a tool of manipulation and control. Some may also lack dignity and allow themselves to be used and degraded by men.
Female animals: Sex is a mating act for reproduction. Depending on the species, some mate with one male for life. They do not mate until they are ready to reproduce, and the females tend to be very selective.
Women: Some women measure their worth according to relationship status. If single, they may not feel good about themselves. Consequently, some use various, desperate ploys to have and maintain a relationship with a man. For some women, this includes offering themselves as a sex object.
Female animals: Do not seem to be worried or concerned about “relationship status.” They appear to know who they are and value themselves just fine, whether or not they have a mate. When their instincts let them know that it is time to mate, they take care of business selectively, and allow the male to pursue them and earn the right to mate.
Women: Some women abort their babies and date or marry a dangerous man, just to be in a relationship.
It is important to note that anyone can make a mistake under stress or pressure of unplanned pregnancy.
It is important to turn away from such for the future. God’s grace is sufficient for any woman who has terminated her pregnancy.
When we confess our faults to God, He forgives us and cleanses us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9.
Female animals: Female animals tend to be fiercely protective of their babies, and will do all they can to protect them from harm.
Women: Some women coddle and cripple their children (often, especially their sons), even when they are adults. Other women expose their children to dangerous men, just to have a man around.
Female animals: Many species tend to take care of their young until they are weaned, and then they let them go live the life of grown animals.
Women: Women sometimes pursue men, giving too much of themselves, trying to earn men. Some end up even harassing men or nearly losing their minds over them.
Female animals: Female animals seem calm, cool, and collected. They allow the males to pursue them, work for them, fight for them, and impress them.
A positive difference I notice with women, contrary to the animals, is the fact that women are able to actually have ongoing intimacy with their husband. This differs from an annual (or even more rare) mating ritual often found among animals.
In Proverbs 18: 22, it does not say she who finds a husband findeth a good thing:
“Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.”
Just some things to ponder…
