In this post I’m going to share some of the ways that I pray for myself and ( Lord willing) my future as a wife.

1) Pray that I remain steadfast in loving God with all of my heart, soul, mind, and strength, and loving my neighbor as myself.

2) Pray I continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

3) Pray for the spirit of continuous discernment.

4) Pray that I continue to fear God, and that He keeps me in His unadulterated truth.

5) Pray that my trust and obedience to God is unwavering.

6) Pray I would surrender all to Jesus continually.

7) Pray that I live a life of holiness and purity continually.

8) Pray God would empower me with a cooperative, meek, and quiet spirit as I trust in Him to lead my husband.

9) Pray that God delivers and heals me from any past and present wounds in every area.

10) Pray for God to peel away any hardened layers of my heart to soften me to be vulnerable with my husband and love him selflessly and freely.

11) Pray that I will be a blessing to the fullest extent to my husband.

12) Pray that God would help me to be the help meet that He has called me to be; using all of the wisdom, insight, talents and resources He has given to me to glorify Him, and to bless my husband with.

13) Pray that God shows me ways I need to change in order to please Him, and be a blessing and joy to my husband.

14) Pray that I will remain faithful in all regards to God and to my husband.

15) Pray that our intimacy and marriage as a whole be fulfilling in all regards, just as God intended.

16) Pray that God guides me on how to pray for myself, my husband, and our marriage.

17) Pray for a loving, mutually respectful relationship with in-laws on both sides; pray that the relationship with the in-laws glorifies God.
